This page describes variances and clarifications of the BPEL4WS 1.1 specification and schema as implemented by PXE.

Clarifications to the Specification

Variances from the Schema

The version of the BPEL4WS 1.1 schema supported by PXE is a slightly modified version of the BPEL4WS 1.1 schema originally submitted to OASIS. For comparison, the BPEL4WS 1.1 schema is available here, and the modified version is available here.

  • The <bpws:from> element is allowed to have text content not wrapped by an element, so, for example <bpws:from>0</bpws:from> is a legal fragment.
