URL — a Uniform Resource Locator, as described in RFC1738. As the name suggests, a URL is a syntactic device for describing the location of a resource. Where a URL is expected by PXE, it is assumed that the Java virtual machine has a way to resolve that URL to obtain a stream of bytes.
